However, it seems like now that my Bootcamp is over and that I have a Windows partition on my device, every time I start the Mac holding the option key to go to Windows, the same message comes back on the screen.ĭespite countless hours searching through the internet for a solution, and despite having read other Mac users having the same problem over the years (on Reddit, Apple Community, StackExchange.), I couldn't find a valuable and WORKING solution to this problem and that is why I'm asking begging for your help on this problem. Of course, what I did was restart my Mac holding the option key and I safely came back to my MacOS. ![]() Once the Bootcamp app on my Mac completed the procedure, the computer restarted showing me a black screen saying "no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key". Because it's an older model, I also had to use a USB drive to perform the Bootcamp. Installing Windows on a Mac should run without any issues, so it can be a good idea if you own a Mac and need to use Windows.Ok so basically I am on a Mac Book Air Mid 2012 and I was undergoing a procedure of Bootcamp.
